Streaming some more #HiveTime work - come help me test some new chat integration features! π π¬

@Cheeseness Would you perhaps consider dual-streaming to somewhere like Odysee or even YouTube? Twitch is very unresponsive and it tends to buffer a lot even with reduced video quality settings. π
@sudo AFIK, Twitch is the only streaming platform that implements an IRC interfact for chat, and that's what I'm testing right now.
FWIW, I only stream low quality anyway ^_^
@Cheeseness I haven't really streamed anything before so I wouldn't really know. However, I tried reducing the quality to 360p and it was still buffering. I had to use NoScript to make it functional enough to watch one of your streams.
If it's too difficult though, that's fine. I just wanted to ask anyway. By the way, I really enjoy your streams. Keep it up! π
@Cheeseness I had already considered getting 'Streamlink'. However, I just didn't want to install another piece of software on my computer. I don't really use Twitch much at all anyway. I did check if it was possible to do it just using something like VLC. It's definitely not convenient! π
@sudo I might've been thinking of this https://github.com/dudik/twitch-m3u8
@sudo Ah, there's a way to get the RTMP URI without a lot of fit-arsing around, but I can't recall how off the top of my head and don't want to get too sidetracked while streaming. If I remember, I'll let you know!
