I am really pleasantly surprised with this trend of offering Linux pre-loaded on PCs.
Didn't Microsoft put a lot of effort into preventing exactly that? How come it's now happening more and more?
@testman @Linux4Everyone @ubuntu It beats me.... I am also glad that this is happening and I hope this trend continues. What makes me even more happy is that Lenovo, as an OEM, seems to be not only just 'providing Linux' but also actively supporting the FOSS community as a whole. I do hope that more companies follow this example. Until then, I think we in the Linux and FOSS community have our work cut out for us.
