Due to #COVID19Pandemic entire populations are being tracked and monitored. These measures could open the door for more #surveillance, strengthen authoritarians and endanger democracies. History teaches us that we must take this threat very seriously:

@Tutanota It is definitely concerning to know that this state of surveillance might remain long after this pandemic. However, we must first ensure that people can get through this safely. We'll have to deal with the consequences later. It is encouraging, though, to know that privacy preserving solutions to aid this cause are already in the works.
