Just signed up for Moi for a dedicated work number. Was thinking about putting the SIM that I'll be getting in next few days in my OnePlus 3T but figured this would give me an excellent reason to fire up Jolla One and use that as my work device (mostly).
I think it's crazy after all these years that the Jolla One is even getting updates, and it still feels as buttery smooth as the day I bought it. Serious hats off to the folks over at Jolla for pulling that off.
The phone is mostly going to be used for calls and email, was thinking about stuff like Twitter but sad to see Tweetian not getting updates. Anyone have suggestions for native apps? Last time I touched Sailfish was back in 2018 just to check out latest updates at that time.
@JoshStrobl I heard that Twitter changed its API, which resulted in broken functionality for third party clients. I would recommend using the web app. (Source: https://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2020/02/qt-twitter-client-choqok-first-update-forever)
@sudo I'm aware that they deprecated various real-time related APIs. I used to use Corebird (we have Cawbird in the repo that does away with the realtime API now though).
Nice to see another Linux client getting revived though.
