@aeveltstra @Tutanota That's more difficult than you think. Some of the most prominent names in the privacy sector are based in or funded by companies in the USA. (Eg: Signal, TOR, Wickr, DuckDuckGo, etc....)
@sudo @Tutanota Indeed. Switch to European companies or non-profits that do not buy services or components from American companies. It's why the French government is funding lots of free and open-source efforts, including encrypting services.
