@samkupar Certainly journalists, whistle-blowers and everyone with sensitive data should do this. However we can't be sure that Telegram itself is safe.
@ericbuijs @samkupar I agree with your opinion. Yet, the issue is it is the only alternative to WhatsApp which is on par with it in terms of features. It is also arguably more secure than WhatsApp due to its more privacy-friendly policies, clear definition of what goes into the cloud and its mostly open source code. This makes it much easier to recommend.
