Learning to use Linux: So far the experience has been good. The ease of installing apps using the App Store is making my work fast but on the other hand Flathub & Appimages are something different because in Pop!_OS Flatpak installation has no GUI support & Appimages feel like they’re inferior to native or Flathub apps because they aren’t in the app launcher. I did find a way to make Appimages behave like native apps using another app. I struggle installing apps from tar.gz & .xz files.
I’m using it on my System76 Darter Pro which comes preinstalled with a Linux distro. The other thing I struggle with is transferring images & videos from my iPhone to my laptop; the images don’t even open because they’re in HEIF format.
