What do you see when you see this?

We have received the application to register the mascot of Paris 2024 as an EU trade mark.

The International Olympic Committee sent us this image, that if registered, will cover from clothes to jewelry….and even NFTs and virtual goods.

According to the Committee, it is a a Phrygian cap. Symbol of revolution and freedom and part of the History of France for centuries.

@EUIPO The Phrygian cap could be successfully repurposed as a symbol against the corruption of the IOC, where a revolution is clearly overdue.

So this might be a pretty good mascot, all in all.
