Good morning from the federal courthouse in Washington, D.C. where we enter Day 26 of the Oath Keepers seditious conspiracy trial. This is the final expected week of testimony and evidence before the jury takes over.

Defendant Thomas Caldwell will take the witness stand today.

Caldwell has been on the stand for 2.5 hours facing questions from his attorney. His testimony has painted his conduct as altogether wholesome and he has even told jurors that where he comes from, a "militia" just means a group of people who help neighbors in times of need.
@Brandi_Buchman Nice try, but I'm sure where he comes from a "dictionary" just means an evil communist propaganda leaflet.
