@EU_Commission I welcome these new steps while wondering if EU citizens have the right to conduct their daily lives without being plugged in to an smartphone. Will an online life be forced upon us? Could we choose not to own, or use, applications or smartphone and still remain members of society? I believe people should be able to make these type of choices.

@pmroman @EU_Commission This is a great point - negative digital rights should also be ensured. Essential services such as banking should be guaranteed even for non-digital users - and online services should not depend on a smartphone or a product of any particular brand.
