@GTK it's on, but you need to invoke gtk_widget_show before we can see it.
@antolius now, if only there was a GTK4 Mastodon client, that would not be necessary any more 😜

@GTK @antolius In case anybody is interested in picking up this - there seems to be a GTK4 Mastodon client out there already!
...well, at least almost. A GTK4 alpha of the app Tootle was pushed to github in July last year. No updates since then though - but the stable 1.0 release still works like a charm. Absolutely a project deserving of more attention.
@sab @antolius tootle is archived upstream, and EOL on Flathub, so unfortunately it's not going to be updated. People will need to fork it, if they want to resurrect the project
