Decided to look at network stats again. There are 1M more people using #Mastodon today than there were on October 27.
@Gargron It's a great platform. I hope it's newbies are mostly enriching it, rather than trampling rough shod. I guess things will settle over the coming weeks & months. Thanks for your work.
@debe @Gargron I haven't been here for too many months, but in my experience, I was just here to follow niche open source software stuff, and I never managed to get into twitter. Suddenly the place just explodes with life, but with the way Mastodon works, the communities I used to follow are not really affected at all except that there's a little more activity - what has changed is just that there's suddenly a lot more going on elsewhere if one cares to look for it.
It's an enrichment for sure!
