Grande-Marlaska, socialist Interior minister (in charge of security): "all [policemen] have told me there was violence of much larger impact than that on Euskadi"
quick please how do I delete my government
@espectalll at first glance, that let me as surprised as you. In a careful second read, I realized that he is not expressing his opinion on the matter but forwarding the opinion of "all operational forces" (is difficult to know to what extent that is true). Also, it seems clear to me that terrorism is left out of the answer and the comparison is only related to public disorder incidents with police interventions (terrorism and public disorders cannot be compared). Cheers.
@rpalomar that said, sorry if I said he talked about ETA if he wasn't. Would like the context to be cleared up first tho.
@rpalomar Yeah, he was expressing what the policemen seemingly said, but I can't see him disagreeing with that. And even if it was only about public disorders, I can't believe the Barcelona protests are any worse than the kale borroka, which actually organized vandalism.
