Grocery stores must be getting hit hard! I just pulled up the weekly ad for our local Ingles, it is typically about 8 pages long.
Today it was only TWO pages with virtually nothing in it! It was like they scrounged for a few items to include with 20 cents off onions being the only produce on sale, and things like flowers/paper cups taking up most of the rest.

@Anon_Z We're getting hit hard and have been since all of this covid stuff started. Right now we're being hit my the meat shortage. We normally get a 4'x4'x6' pallet of meat in every day and now we're not even getting a 3rd of that.

@Anon_Z Our meat department is pretty much empty for the most part. Putting limits on other items has helped us keep our stock up a little better but are still really low on pretty much everything. At the rate things going our stores will start looking like something from Venezuela pretty soon. (It's not that bad yet but with all the production plants shutting down I can see it getting that way pretty quick.)

@owingst Wow, that is bad. I haven't been to the grocery store in 3 weeks or so but it looked fairly normal last time I was there. Course that was before the meat processing plants shut down.
