Online with new server side software
Armored.net is a free platform for secure and private file-sharing. Our initial technology choice of @Nextcloud turned out to be a poor choice due to lack of support without paying to be a 'partner’. Our migration to fully #OpenSource, super-fast and no-nonsense #BeDrive is complete. We think you will love it.
We will be happy to migrate your data for you at no cost. However, since the data is all encrypted, we'll need your help to briefly decrypt long enough to migrate your data. This is the downside of absolute privacy in the cloud: we don’t keep a copy of your keys.
To get started, go to https://armored.net and register your new account. If you are a paid customer, email us at support@armored.net to let us know your new account is created and we will restore the storage quota. Also tell us if you want us to migrate your data for you or if you would prefer to migrate your data yourself.
Your data will remain on the old server (https://my.armored.net) until you delete it.
Thank you all so much for your patience! As stated many times now, we pride ourselves on our security, privacy, and transparency! In regards to the later, a detailed summary explaining what happened will be made publicly available in the next several days.

@owingst I don't think we'll be developing an app so much as trying to incorporate protocols like WebDAV or as another customer suggested, STFP.
