The first four serious ideas written in response to this toot will go into a poll that everyone will get to vote on, and WHATEVER idea wins the poll is what I will write on.
I will edit this post to make it into a poll (if I am able to do so) once I have four serious unique ideas.
SECOND POLL: Since it looks like the "Bootstrapping a UNIX-style OS in super-hard-mode: How I'd create my own OS/Environment using only shell" option of the poll is about to win by a landslide, it's time for a second poll: one that covers exactly HOW this "bootstrapping" process should be initiated.
Poll question: Taking the original idea to "bootstrap" my/your own set of tools on top of a #UNIX-style OS without installing any optional language, WHICH OS should I start with?
Please don't be too cruel! Remember, I am not allowed to install anything not pre-installed by the installer with default settings, nor am I allowed to run any scripts from the internet (or get any binaries from the internet).
