I think I'm resigned to switching instances when I start my holidays. I just don't see a path forward on my current instance where they keep things up to date (too many decisions made in the past preventing updates with their custom changes). Bummed to leave behind my history but curious to see how the process of moving works.
At this point the only thing that remains is deciding on a new server. Thinking with Hachyderm, IndieWeb or my alt act Jawns.

From what I've read you get to keep your history and import it into new...not with your alt since I'd presume it has it's own history.
