I’m so new here, but want to mention I am having the same calming experience abandoning IG in favour of posting photography on #Vero.
Hoping for the same experience of “community” here.

@mm can't say that I had heard of Vero, is it just like @pixelfed ? I do enjoy being on there as an alternative to Instagram

@mcneely @pixelfed Vero.co is an app much like the original Instagram. Feed is chronological, no ads, no algorithm, supportive others.

@mcneely @adamdavidson twitter is largely just one huge, dedicated, trolling website comment section of people demonstrating how little they actually care about things like accurate information, details or objectivity. The primary goal seems to be simply “owning” the people perceived as enemies.
