Btw it's insane how much hate this game is getting on Reddit. Sure the visuals could have been fancier and less buggy, but I'm really enjoying the overall game so far.
@Gina The visuals and performance are pretty unacceptable for such a big franchise (imo), but it's such a fun game to play! Which starter did you end up going with?

Admittedly,I am only a couple hours in but I thought it looked great!
I wish it had Arceus’ gameplay but so far it’s pretty good.
P.S. it IS buggy though and that’s a bit lame.
Those are fair points. I’ll keep a more attentive eye on the game. It did feel like Arceus was better looking from the little I played of Violet.
As far as starters I went with Fuecoco. Ever since Red I’ve always used the Fire Starter (The Prodigy, anyone?)

@fssofdeath @Gina pokemon games are never going to have the best graphics (as it's not a priority for game freak) and that's fine. But imo this game a lot of the issues are poor textures and draw distance which were done so much better in Legends Arcueus (gamefreaks last game). Also many of the visual bugs (frame drops, camera popping through the floors etc) should be fixed in a game of this price from an established top developer. (still loving the game though)
