Mastodon does not need to take off and replace Twitter or be the next big thing to be both useful and enjoyable.
The things I enjoy most here are the things that are unlike Twitter.
@mike well said! It seems that these days things aren’t considered desirable or successful unless they become viral and balloon to an unmanageable size. That’s such a toxic attitude. #mastodon is beautiful as it is and a steady stream of interesting people will always beat a surge of idiots in my book.
