I will delete WhatsApp myself soon, because I almost convinced all my close contacts to install Signal. It's unfortunate what happened to WhatsApp after it was acquired by Facebook.

@flav yes many acquisitions are not good eg. Picasa by Google. Oddly enough Waze has survived well considering Google has Maps... Waze has been progressing steadily with its own features and beta testers etc...

The biggest one, YouTube. Wish it was never purchased by Google. For maps I would prefer Open Street Maps. There's an app called OsmAnd, but I feel it's not quite on par with Google Maps.
