I would like a step by step tutorial on how to install a Friendica or Hubzilla node. I found something on YouTube about Friendica but looks like they're not using the easier way. I'm not sure If I need a SMTP email provider to install that software.
@flav I originally used a Webuzo script to install mine because I subscribe to their service but they don't update it. So in end I had to follow instructions on Hubzilla site somewhere that use git commands to basically install. That makes it much easier to update. I don't think either have docker container installs which would have been easier.

It's good to know about that Webuzo script, it might be a good start if it makes the install easier. I saw Digital Ocean also has a script to make Mastodon installation easier.
