You want simplicity? How about this simple solution: you 100% absolutely and fully prohibit any citizen's private data being fed to any #AI whatsoever under any circumstances. Can't get much simpler, no?
Can we put it on referendum to see which percentage of #EU citizens would prefer that form of simplicity over your idea of "let's simply abolish last remains of privacy rights EU citizens still have so greedy companies will be able to bribe us better"?

I like this approach, and would like to see it used slightly differently:
Ban third party cookies. Cookies allowed to track user session on the site the cookie is fram, and no external parties may use cookies to mine data about users.
Ban data brokerage about EU citizens (and anyone else in the EU). No collecting, sharing, selling, or buying data about us.
Oh noes, that's a big industry? F all of them.
@Gurre @mnalis @uberprutser @EUCommission The third-party cookie is already dying. No one needs them when you have dozens of classifiers, some of which are used to track you even on different devices. More enforcement would be what I want.
