I made the mistake of talking politics on Mastodon earlier.
The number one rule with social media is this: only talk about politics if you're actually *doing* politics. For example, activism, or you're standing for election or something.
If your account is for professional stuff, *keep it professional*.
I stand by my opinions, but the primary purpose of my Mastodon account is to spread news about projects, or promote my company.
