I am guessing but it feels like autocorrect has transitioned from a bespoke product to an LLM #AI model.

There will be longer term benefits to this but there is definitely an enshitification that is hopefully temporary. I am tempted to turn it off but I think why I am so annoyed is because of how useful it is.

Also, if I’m training it locally, I need to be told.

@taatm autocorrect was always an language model. At least SwiftKey is fine tuned locally, and a lot of keyboards are re-skins of SwiftKey.
