WTF! I think in Europe it would be illegal. Like you cannot officially praise genociders who did crimes against humanity. Of course it does not apply to US presidents, it seems they are allowed to kill massively civilians.

In a less overt way, here in Spain, there are many people and politicians that are fascist and glorify Franco (the Spanish dictator). The king himself does.

I've noticed this quite a bit in both South and South East Asian culture - it seems a trend to worship "strong authoritarian patriarchal leaders" especially amongst the petit borgeousie small/medium business owners and is often ignored or laughed off by the West (or even admired by rightwingers over here, as its generally illegal or strongly discouraged to overtly display Nazi-symbols anywhere in Europe..)
