Twitter in India: Why was rival Mastodon trending?
Hello good people from #India!
I'm Meghnad, an author, journalist, public policy professional, content creator and avid Parliament watcher. I mostly talk about policy, politics and make lame ass jokes about stuff that I see pretty much all the time.
Other than this, I also play a lot of Dota 2, am bigly into boardgames and do a lot of GIF curation.
Nice to meet you!

Mastodon apps for Android: Tusky, Fedilab
Mastodon apps for iOS: Toot!, Mast, Amaroq
There is no app called “Mastodon” because anyone can develop an app (and the aforementioned ones are made by independent developers). You can also use the website on your phone, it works quite well and has 100% of the features.

Why is Australia trying to shut down climate activists?

Prime Minister Scott Morrison is arguing that the government should outlaw “indulgent and selfish” efforts by environmental groups to rattle businesses with rallies and boycotts.
