@nickh Ahh ok.
@nickh Honestly never heard of Sway. And I thought Wayland was still a myth. Didn't know it finally came out. lol Sometimes it's hard to keep on top of everything.
Why is this not shocking to me. https://net-security.us2.list-manage.com/track/click?u=f76e9593a7d90f4024574218d&id=afa5df6ba4&e=a017371bef
@nickh nice. I use i3 myself.
@nickh used to use Nova til Action rolled around. Got the paid version seemed to be better. Even had Apex among others. Good/bad who knows.
@nickh I've had numerous launcher. Action Launcher was my mainstay as I didn't have to keep any icons on home screen. and have a slide out app drawer. Now on this if I could have a transparent draw I'd be 110% happy. :)
@lattedrift@mastodon.social if you run Linux or if you run Windows with Putty installed you can setup openssh with a local and external port open on your router for just that service. And if your file manager supports it, you can setup a sftp connection. It won't sync technically. But you can copy & paste between both devices. Github works too. Still working on minimizing how many profiles I have online somewhat.
@lattedrift@mastodon.social Evernote I hardly ever used it anymore. So why not kill it off. Google's Keep , sure might be handy. But Something else I forget to use. As for a calendar, I'll keep a local app on my phone like I mentioned. But for reminder an stuff of bill due dates, etc I'll stick with just a text file currently synced over wifi/ssh until I get a Raspberry Pi setup with external drives. Then I'll ditch Google Drive & Dropbox. More privacy for the most part.
