Well, fuck Microsoft for pushing out a 41.67% increase in my M365 plan subscription charges, *in secret*.
£59.99 -> £84.99 per annum. No notification, either by email, in the software, or even on their portal.
I've managed to "revert" my plan back to the newly-renamed ' M365 Personal Classic' plan. If you haven't already done so, get your skates on, as the somewhat hidden means to do so will disappear, probably soon. Note that this applies to non-Personal plans too.

Facebook is banning accounts that simply mention Linux 🐧⛔️
Most notably impacting DistroWatch who got their account locked: "Facebook's internal policy makers decided that Linux is malware and labeled groups associated with Linux as being 'cybersecurity threats.'
We hope this is just a fixable error. Proceed with caution in the meantime...For the full scoop:

Today I discovered that the xone #Linux driver for the XBox 2.4Ghz wireless dongles, the one from medusalix , won't install on newer kernels. Since I'm running Debian with the backports 6.11.10 kernel, I guess that means me. Luckily there's a fork of it by dlundqvist that "does" work. Had to manually set up the mok key so it would work with SecureBoot enabled, but it's doing great now.
The fork is at: https://github.com/dlundqvist/xone

I must admit that I love the #MiniRack project of @geerlingguy : (more) affordable and (especially) portable #rack builds for #network, #homelab and whatever you think of … in 10 inches wide 🤓
The links below give an example of a minirack designed for low power consumption and powered by solar panels.
In short, a whole host of possibilities ! 🖖😜
