Observation. If you're using the tar command to create an archive with zstd compression that comprises a folder, or multiple files, remember to give it either the ".tar.zst" or ".tzst" file extensions. I accidentally gave a compressed folder the plain .zst extension and it compressed and extracted fine in the terminal, but Gnome's file roller utility wouldn't let me browse the contents of the archive.
