Moderation is always the least exciting part and can also be the most time-consuming. To help you manage this, PeerTube v6.2 not only adds a new page listing all the comments made on your videos, which you can now approve manually, but also the ability to create word lists that will automatically put comments containing them in the moderation queue!

The main thing that #Mastodon needs to fix for me now is the broken #mute function.

For some reason they removed the short-mute option, which was one of the main things I liked about the mute-a-person capability.

You can't mute someone for less than 24hrs now. :(

Peertube 6.2 can automatically create subtitles for videos using an artificial intelligence engine called "Whisper." This new feature can be enabled by PeerTube admins to automatically generate subtitles for newly published videos. The creation of subtitles can also be triggered on demand, allowing administrators to create subtitles for videos published before PeerTube 6.2.

How to Display eBook Thumbnails in Nautilus (Quick Tip)

I recently rediscovered my Amazon Kindle (a geriatric model from 2012, nothing fancy) and figured, as it still works, I’ll use it, and set about downloading a freely available EPUBs of classic (and not-so-classic – I’m a pulpy-kinda guy) literature. They say never judge a book by its cover – but it is useful to be able to distinguish a book by its cover! Thing is: my old Amazon Kindle can’t open EPUB files1, so I have to use the open-source eBook tool Calibre to convert them into either the AZW3 format my antiquated Kindle requires, or the more versatile :sys_more_orange:
