It's an optional, opt-in, experimental feature that leverages multiple different backends that you can choose from.

Which company profits despite consistently poor quality products? 🤔

@gerowen I see behaviour like this from both sides and history should not be erased, nor should it be manipulated to serve any one group(or groups) goals.

@noflcl slight tolerance issues with my case, but works very well otherwise.

Just installed an Electron app because *surely* it would be more lightweight than having a dedicated #WebKit browser (#suckless #surf) for just that one web app, right?

NOPE.

<282 MiB RAM for Surf
>630 MiB RAM for #Electron

Good gravy. XD

#CommandLine warriors, I discovered something neat recently:

github.com/mwh/dragon

It lets you do drag-and-drop from the command-line, so if you want to, for example, upload a file onto a forum post you're typing up, you can find/create the file on the command line, run `dragon ${filename}`, and then drag and drop the file onto your browser window.

Not sure how well it works in Wayland, though. It's a pretty old program.

Hey @siosm and @cgwalters we've got #fedora 's CoreOS kernel and have our test image out. M2 did the work:

github.com/ublue-os/bluefin/pk

Basically I was looking for a more conservative kernel cadence for our `gts` images and just had to try it. I can't wait to see how this combination works in practice.

Valve should bring back the #SteamController. it should fix the first version's biggest flaw (lack of d-pad) and learn from more recent developments. here is a prototype of what it could look like 😏.

been using my Steam Controller almost exclusively for PC games since sometime last year

4 months ago I swapped out the thumbstick with one from another controller. way more comfy to use than what the SC came with (tho it's also wearing out already), and really helped solidify it as my favorite controller

very hopeful that a Steam Controller 2 happens sooner rather than later
