@proxeus@iscute.moe You'd want to either be behind a NAT router, be behind an ISP firewall, or be behind a software firewall on any PC. While a PC generally wouldn't have exposed services, a zero-day could still be exploited over the internet without such protection. A NAT router is better than a firewall in one sense, since it only allows replies to requests sent by the users behind it. Firewalls are necessary, but most people are protected by some type of firewall without even being aware.
