@elysia help me. Is that a positiv, or a negative response?, I have incredibly bad judgement when it comes to social interactions.

@Herbivore if this picture where to reflect reality. That cows-milk was primarily a substitute for mother's that couldn't feed their children on their own, yes I would. Most milk is produced for farm aid, it's either dumped in poorer countries, or stored in cheese caves.

We produce milk to manufacture pretense for giving farmers money, so they will vote for the preferred party.

@elysia vitlök?, in Swedish "lök" is the name of a botanical family. Including all sorts of plants, including everything from tulips to scallions. And yes also onions, which is somtimes referred to as "lök" on its own.

@futurebird pica, the condition where you have an compulsion to eat non-food item?

@kevinmirsky @SecurityWriter I guess the rumour that the NSA took over operation after the NK hack was correct, they probably lost funding in the latest tech bro inspired cull.

@Herbivore we are just going to forget that almonds, one of the nut milks, are pollinated with European honeybees. That is a invasive species, in the USA, that is putting wildbees at threat of extinction?

@sima should I admit that this is how I learn?

@elysia I think you meant deca milli that would be centi. One decamillimeter would be one centimeter.

@elysia a mega milli would ba kilo. 150 mega millimeters would be 150km.
You are a very tall one.

@useravoiding @Sustainable2050 those are dc. They have to get ac connections, if they want to be synchronous.

@FrantisekSup @Sustainable2050 wonder if they will keep the power electronics around. Or if they will move them to a location of greater utility...

@useravoiding @Sustainable2050 so with Poland?, I highly doubt they will put ac cables across the sea, the reactive power would be a menace at that distance.

@useravoiding @Sustainable2050 so, are their new synchronous connections, or are they isolated?

@Sustainable2050 quick question. Is that the existing dc connection?, or are their new synchronous connections?

@SwiftOnSecurity I am pretty sure papper straws was a psyop to decrease support for the environmental cause.

@Sobex Linux had a big beautiful lock at some point, but I think that is dead and buried for ten years now.

@Sobex @sima @Nulhomme @gfxstrand don't take me wrong i am happy to bullshit my way to an answer. But I think I will defer answering to someone that actually knows.

@Sobex @sima @Nulhomme @gfxstrand I know that the kernel under some circumstances will map and unmap pages on context boundaries. Obviously when switching between user space threads, but also when using kernel space isolation. Which was proposed for dealing with Meltdown and similar.
