In just a few short hours it will be completely legal to write, distribute, and profit from story about Dracula, Winnie the Pooh, and Sherlock teaming up to fight crime together. What a time to be alive!

I've been creeping around looking at a lot of people's accounts (I'm doing a survey) Noticed that people with very few followers have one thing in common: they have not boosted the posts of other people often if at all.

(When I see posts like this encouraging boosting I always think "well that person just wants boosts, whatever") That's not it. On twitter it was important to only boost exceptional content -- boost here to invite more people to join in talking about something.

Driving at night when it's snowing can feel like this

Many of us have worked in jobs that make us unhappy. My goodness how much power we give them. The dread of the journey into work. However, we can decide to just be happy. Smile in the morning, enjoy your journey into work. Just do your job. Sometimes it is having to listen without hearing. Just nod your head. Every single day we give too much power to people. Take it back. 🖖

Increasingly feels like everyone else is completing the main objectives in the game of life (house, partner, career) while I'm mainly wandering off on side quests, trying to put a hat on an uncooperative badger

When you’re three months into that side project you said would take a weekend.

More than that, I want difference. I want to see ideas I've never had. Art that doesn't speak to me. Ways of being that are nothing like what I know. I want a world of color and strangeness and new-old things that all have a place wherein we celebrate infinite diversity.
