"I have deleted Windows 10 and installed Ubuntu. I will never use Windows again; Game Over.

Months of tweaking Windows 10: removing services, stopping processes, uninstalling apps, doing all sorts of hacks, I was done. Over. I can't handle this garbage anymore.

I made a final decision & switched to Linux Ubuntu.

I'm relieved.

I'm so surprised that people are still using Windows. Something is wrong."

I wonder if there are any privacy-respecting translation services. It would be really cool to have translations in Social, but I'm not sure how I could do it without:

- Paying for and shipping an API key for a properietary service

- Risking user privacy

while I really like #peertube, I still cheer for #lbry, especially since beta.lbry.tv is a thing and content consumers no longer have to rely on the client being installed.

Just released mastotool v0.1, a (growing) collection of tools to access the Mastodon API from the terminal.

Generates lovely statistics for your account and lets you search your toots for keywords, so far.
