My son's school locks down his Google Classroom account so hard that, if he logs into the Chromebook with the account, he cannot access our local NAS. They literally block the protocol at the account level.

After spending today using only my #pinephone running ubuntu touch, taking it out and about in "normal daily life", I made a quick write-up of my experience.

All in all it's actually looking really good! A number of issues remain in UT, such as the camera and, I think, GPS, but UI performance is great and there has been a huge increase in the number of apps that are available on the Open Store. 😀
