The Mastodon instances/users are putting enormous pressure on the people who run Gab-friendly instances and on any person even remotely supporting Gab's presence on the Fediverse. Read this:

'Instance admins are under a lot of social pressure to conform to the rest of the Mastodon network. Users harass admins and publicly shame them for not cooperating.

Only a handful of servers don't ban gab.com on the instance level, and this server is one of them. Admins have been facing a lot of scrutiny for their unwillingness to apply a mandatory server-level block.

The mstdn.io admin also doesn't block Gab, and has been receiving a large amount of hateful messages and harassment for doing so. He too is exhausted by the fediverse.'

So, if you've got a person from the Fediverse following you, give'em a break and take the time to welcome them please.

Neither does a web-browser because it doesn’t include a blocklist for alt-right websites."

However they've made an ominous statement.

"While an antifeature doesn’t make sense, we do need to overhaul our inclusion guidelines. This means besides the requirement for fully free software, we need to think about what will not be tolerated inside the f-droid.org repository. This is not an easy thing to do and still a work in progress.

When we are done with that there will be people who won’t agree with our guidelines."

Talking about people being dissatisfied with the policy implies they're going to come down hard on one side or the other. Which side remains to be seen.
