Ubuntu Linux: a new desktop Snap Store.

Developers at Canonical have begun the work on Snap Desktop Store. The first lines of code landed last week.

They'll be aiming for it to be in good shape by next year's Ubuntu 20.04 LTS (long term support).

Canonical's aim & slogan for Snap Store / Snapcraft is "the app store for Linux".
