If you want to make people understand why they should not use AI, i now phrase it like this:

Every time you have any problem, instead of hiring an expert, hire an actor. It's not that i hate actors, but it is legit what the AI is doing. It is acting like someone who knows these things.

Need a doctor? Hire Hugh Laurie.

Need a chemist? Hire the dude who played Mc Guyver.

This is what you are doing. You must stop this.

You know its a tech bubble when the head of Microsoft tells you that unless more people adopt AI, then the 'boom' will falter.... yup, they've spotted that antipathy to AI is gong to take the shine off their investments....

If there are not enough more fools to sell their shares to, then the price will be dropping & the shirt sellers will be moving in (as they've already started to do)

An important PSA for people who are active on #Bluesky and who, upon hearing that the ICE account was officially verified, are saying: "I will just block it."

Blocking on Bluesky is NOT PRIVATE: it's very easy to see who is blocking any account by visiting sites that list that information.

I took a screenshot from https://clearsky.app, listing all the accounts that are blocking ICE (I pixelated avatars and usernames for privacy purposes).

The safest bet is to mute (that info is private) 😫
