Remember what your city or a city close to you did in 2020 after George Floyd. We in Minneapolis need you again. We need that response again. We need your help. Cause a ruckus, get in the streets, block ICE, be water, spread fire.

Pass it on. This city has shown so much bravery so far during this fed occupation. We need yours now too.

Was mir auffällt: Ich habe noch keinen Linken gehört, der den vermeintlich linksextremen Stromnetz-Anschlag in Berlin gut findet.

Bei rechtsextremen Anschlägen auf Flüchtlingsheime gibt es auf rechter Seite aber immer Leute, die online Beifall zollen. Oder die jubelnd neben dem Gebäude stehen.

Die fehlende Zustimmung zeigt (egal ob False-Flag oder nicht), dass es für diese Spielart des Linksextremismus keine Unterstützung in der Bevölkerung gibt, was bei rechtem Terror leider anders ist.

* freedom of speech
* freedom of the press
* states rights
* government overreach
* wars of choice/international meddling
*. women's sports
* women ... generally
* real Americans

But most important of all they do not care about appearing hypocritical. They want to be seen as powerful, brave, unstoppable, etc. the dishonest rot of hypocrisy is just another tool.

Learn it now and forever. Expect much less from such people.

Imagine that it's 1925 and I am a clever, experienced mechanical engineer. I look around at the "tech" world of the time and notice some disturbing things:

- the rising power of literally fascist CEOs like Henry Ford
- What began as an inefficient, quirky novelty toy for rich people, the automobile, has become "normal" and started to dominate public space
- rising levels of fossil pollution
- the rising monopoly power of Oil companies
- dangerous levels of stock-market speculation
- brutal exploitation of people and environmental destruction in mining and rubber producing (mostly colonial) regions
- the use of debt to get less wealthy consumers to buy cars
- scores of innocent pedestrians injured or killed by automobiles
- urban planning that increasingly favors more expensive cars over other users of the streets
- declining sense of importance of shared forms of transportation like trolleys and trains

As an engineer, I look at all those rising issues and then I say:

"What we need is an Open Source Model-T Ford with some slightly better safety features."

In retrospect, that would seem like a pretty inadequate response.

By now I'm convinced that one of the primary causes of education failing in school is that people

a) underestimate children's intelligence, while at the same time
b) setting high expectations on knowledge/experience.

Unfortunately, when they're expectations in (b) are proven wrong, they do not provide them with an appropriate definition or learning materials. Instead, they further go down (a) by lowering their estimate of the children's intelligence.

And then I realized accidentally I might be right...I disabled copilot in Word and it went back to being instant again

So that's cool that Microsoft seems uploading everything you paste into a new Word doc to their servers now.
